Offer they cant refuse..
In Burma there is close to 100,000 dead and they will not let people in to help out. The Us is trying to help but the Junta will not allow it. The US is going to end up spending tons of money on this cause and we cant afford this. There are many other countries in the UN that can help out. With the way our economy is right now i dont believe we should help anyone untill we can help ourselvs first.
Next President..
The next president needs to focus on the economy. Our gas prices and home values are way to high and no one can survive in this country. The government needs to stop funding a war in other countries when we cant even afford to live in our own. This country is falling fast into a recession and soon a depression. They need to figure something out and the Next President should be one to bring us back up on top.
Welcome th Hizballahstan
Hizballahstan miltia and Lebaneze supporters are fighting throughout the streets. Open gun fire and bombs around every corner are what await the civilians on this country. This country is in a civil war and its people are in danger. The fighting needs to end and be peaceful.
Out of the Ruins
The earthquake in China were a 7.9 and ruined many of things. Thousands of people are missing beneth the rubble and many are already found dead. This is a bad disaster and China needs they help from the world. After the first two days the death tolls were at 15,000. China is a mess right now between the Olympics and this new disaster. China needs some help.

Genes
A bill has been passed and is ready to be signed by W himself. This bill states that employers can not use your genes against you to not hire you say maybe you have a cancer gene or something they cant turn you down because in the future you might die or something or that nature. Also for healt insiurence companiees cant turn you down because you might get sick because of your genes and actually need them to help you. Believe it or not the Insurence companies might have to do somethign for there clients if they got sick heaven forbid. This is a good bill to pass because people are idiots and to discriminate on someones genes, now come on, thats just low.
The Long View
Isreal is now 60!!! Happy birthday to you but...what are you? Diverse yes but your religion identity is unknown. Your Jewish but rather seem to be only portraying a Jew on the outside. Very few people wear the black hats and long beards and hair. The people of Isreal are more worried about Iran and whether or not those people over there are going to start a nuclear war or not and if they will attack them first! I believe that religion can be put on hold while they sort out the existance of this country.(nuclear war, means no more country, which means no worry about any religion)
Why the World can NOT afford food..
Poor harvest is a good place to start. With many droughts and bad weather its hard to even grow anything to begain with. Increasing price in oil is another one. With gas prices skyrocketing farmers cant afford to ship or transport there crops in any way across nation or sea to make money. Diversion of crops for biofuel, we are basicly using our food to help with the gas prices and end up hurting ourselvs even more. Then there is China. Well not only China but India as well, there economys are growing and they are now able to afford fruit and meat so they are buying alot which leabves less for the rest of us. :(
Burma's Second Agony
Burma is a very small country and one with many problems. The military is not a helpful one and the people are left to fend for themselvs. They are high believers in omens and believe that this cyclone that has hit them is one of them. They were hit with a devestating cyclone that did much damage and killed many people. These people who live here basically have to protect themselvs and help revive there nation on there own.

Radiohead
Time magazine just put out the 100 most influential people of the year but they ailed to rank them. In my eyes Radiohead would be number one. They broke the music world right open letting fans pay what they want for their cd and thats amazing. Metalica in the past has sued fans for pirating music and now the bands are actuially letting the people who matter most (fans) choose the price. Radiohead are the first to do this which is going to open up a major factor in recordlables. Nine Inch NAils have followed Radiohead up by giving an album out to the fans for free online and then letting them buy it if they feel the need to pay for it. The music industry is a beautiful place.

Show Us Our Money!
Do you make the same amount at work as your co-workers do? Have you ever asked? I personally have asked and make sure that i make the same amount as my co-workers do because we do they same job and have they same amount of experioence so its only fair. Some people believe that to be a bit rude and personal but i believe that your entitled to know how much your co-workers make so your not getting dicked over on pay check after paycheck. A lady working for Goodyear got screwed for 20 years before she found out, so next time your at work see how much others make and hold your own.
When Will They Be Ready?!?
When will the Iraqi soliders be ready to take up their own and protect there country from terrorism without US help? Who knows. They are not ready as of now even though they go through multiple trainings and drills they still call upon our troops to help them out in battles and what not. Once they can fend for themselvs we can pull our troops out and get them back here safely where they should of been from the begging.
Gem of an Idea
Mining for gold and diamonds is a dirty job and causes many of problems with it as well. People fight and kill over the millions of dollares they are worth. But Botswana is using the diamond industry to help its economy. In only a decade it brought its 1.3 million people out of poverty and is partnerd up with the worlds largest diamond business, De Beers. The economy is growing and the country is doing much better with is diamond industry. De Beers is moving into the capital of Botswana and is suposed to create around 3000 more jobs for the people there. Diamonds are bringing these people a good life.
Rules of Disengagement
Federal employes are wanting to be able to not invest in countries with terrorist ties. They dont want to put their retirement money in hands of terrorist. An antiterrorism ban has already started to happen with people pulling away from their firms to put an end to terrorism and not invest in their countries. America is trying to get other countries to join in and stop investing in countries that either support or have major terrorist organizations. This is a great idea, i mean if you want to put an end to terrorism not putting money into that countries economy is one way to start to end it.

Blacks are more racist than whites
For black people to think they show more patriotism than whites is extremly racist. If I were to say im more patriotic than and black person i would be condones to hell for eternity and labeled a racist(im white for those who did not know). Black people today believe that everything in the world is racist they take every little sentence and reword it to make you seem racist. White Blacks MExicans everyone is the same, if your patriotic where a shirt with the flag on it and pat yourself on the back. To say ones more patriotic than the other is dumb and i know whites do it as well but seriously everyone calm down a bit. it will all be alright. Say the pledge and wear your flag and everyone just be patriotic together.
Most Important Post Ever
DDA did as we promised. Devil Cremes are back in the lunch room. Thank Chris and I we worked hard and did as we promised. Everyone will remember 4/30/08 for the rest of there lives, the day the Devil Cremes came back.....Your Welcome Society :)
Act now Eat later
The worlds hunger crises is getting worse. We the people of the world need to take action to help replant food and clean up to help fix up our food supply. We are only hurting ourselvs in the long run. We are already starting to see it hurting parts of the world worse than others but still we should all work together to help other economies build back their food supply and help replant. We can all make it a better place to live in.
China feels Left out
With all the protesters and everything else going on China feels like they are getting picked on and are starting to get mad. Im not sure if there just now mad or they have probably been mad...anyways they are not showing a nice attitude to be hosting the Olympics and arnt looking to deserving of being the host. So China clean up your act and be nice.
Wild In Texas
The Polygamist community in Texas is headlining in the news. The Mormon community in West Texas is living like their own little wild wild west. Ignoring the marrige laws and having multiple wives and many children. Some of the girls in the community are being forced to get married. A phone call from a girl inside the community made a call to officials and thats what started the raid on the community. Now inside the compound they cant find the girl that made the phone call. Many children are in danger and are being taken from their homes and parents. What they do to the women in there religion is wrong no matter if it does interfer with freedom of religion they should all be arrested and prosecuted.

Clean up the world
This years presidential campaign should be about helping the world become cleaner. Well at least thats what everyone thought it should be. The three candidates are spending more time on health care then they are on the enviornment. Yes i know cleaning up the enviornment is a big deal but rigth not id rather have a president that will protect me and get me health care and some tax cuts. Saving the world is not top on my list at the moment.
Gordon Brown
Britans prime minister is a better business man than a world leader. His financial decisions are looking better then his political decisions. He is one of the few leaders that do support the US and visits our country quite often. He does have a few good thigns to say though like, "America's gift to the world should be to offer every child the chance of an education. That would do more for people's perception of America than almost anything else." I agree with this quote, we need to live up to our title as the best country and free and let everyone be educated.
Bitter Lesson
Clinton and Mccain did not capitalize well off of Obamas miss use of words in a San Fransico speech he gave.In fact they possibly did the opposite. Obama made a big mistake with the choice words he said and lost some votes but his competition did not do a great job winnign off of his loss. The battle is still going on for all three candidates and the winner is still but a blur to the people.
Road to Bejing
Hunting and gathering is not a sport in the Olympics but is everyday life to the native around the area. MAny of the hunters do not hunt as much anymore because of the conditions but some are still veryt active. They say the feeling of comeing back after you have found something is a great feeling. This group of people the Oroqen is not as civilized and people dont know if they will fit in for the Olympics. I think they will adapt and make it.

Monkey Business
The Bonobo Chimps in Africa are indangered. The African Government is taking actions in helping this endangered species and in the process are helping other animals as well. From Chimps to Elephants the animals are receiving help from the African Governemnet and its great. I love chimps and would hate to see any type of chimp be endangered or anything of the matter.
Protesting The Olympics
In San Fransico protesters of the Olympics climbed up on the wires of the Golden Gate bridge and hung banners for pro-Tibet. Each stop the tourch takes it faces new problems from people attacking it too prople protesting around its course. These little protest and big ones are all taking an effect on this coming summer Olympics. I hope that something happens for the good whatever it be.
Zimbabwe
Mugabe, the leader of Zimbabwe and not the most popular one. Morgan Tsvangirai has wanted Mugabe out of office but cant seem to get him out. One of the reasons is because I guess he finds his life a little more valuable...? Imagine that. Being a brave individual Tsvangirai still speaks out against Mugabe at all the political elect8ions and evry chance he can get. A group started to bring Myugabe out of office and uprise Zimbabwe that Tsvangirai has split into two due to the fact that they dont even know if he could do much better is about. The entire country needs to get him out of office and bring Zimbabwe up from the ground which it is on.

Clean Energy is... Dirty?!?
Think Green and save the planet! YAY! Peace Love and Happiness. Save the trees and natural resources! Well we are actually doing more harm than good. Tearing down rainforests to plant soybeans? Thats not right? IF we are going to save the planet why are we tearing it down? Hmm...Scam maybe? Yes! If we are helping out then why is the deforestation going to double this year in Brazil? Big companies are want money to tear down these rainforest to put in soy an cattle fields and turn around and tell us the people we are helping the enviornment. Well thats a lie, we need to end this tearing up of rainforest for soybeans. Its wrong and i really dont want to ruin the planet for the sake of soybeans.
BE GONE BOYCOTT!!
Boycotting the Olympic games is very childish. Why would you boycott the games when its a chance to shut the other countries up? Refusing to participate in the games is not the way to go about it, instead you should take full force and tear eachother apart in each and every event. Fight tooth and nail to win for your country and put it to others that way. The only reasonable reason to boycott is for the saftey of your athelets. Do not put them in harms way. But honestly...cut the kindergarden crap and win gold.
Martin Luther King Jr Is Not A Ghost, But A Legend

"I have a dream..." The words of a "ghost" still ring throughout our country. On April 4th will mark the 40th anniversary of the death of Martin Luther King Jr. This is not a time to be happy for his time was way to short with us all, but a time to remember the man for standing up for what he believed in and going against the weight of an entire country to voice what he believed in. To be dead for longer than your alive is not that uncommon, but when its only 40 years thats very sad. This great mans life was cut way to short. I know that he would be happy for the advancements we have made but not satisfied. We are far from the end.
Bhutan
After becoming a country not to long ago (not even a month) Bhutan political campaign workers have to learn the ropes. Not meaning to break rules but doing so in the process. New to the political campaigning the workers tried to set out and find a nice place with good grass and stable area to place their tent. They ended up having to move because it was near the temple which is a rule. These poeple are kind hearted human beings that just dont know what they are doing yet. People can say due to their traditions and ways of life they will end up falling. I have faith in them. The way that they look after each other and their culture can only help and not hurt. I believe that this little country will be able to pull it off and run things smoothly.

Olympic Bomb Threat
Well the olympics in China haven't yet begun but the terror threats have. Its not surprising that the Olympics are under threat yet again from terrorist orginizations and other lunatics in the world. This really isn't breaking news because there is the threat of this at any huge sporting event. All they need to do is keep a close eye and thight security which they do already and everything should be fine.
Hulu
Taking over the online video scene Hulu is the new age. YouTube is the worlds most popular site as of now but Hulu is soon to follow in its footsteps. Hulu is making big news with its video quality which is outstanding compared to that of YouTube. The videos are all mainstream videos on Hulu which as the world knows anything can make it on YouTube. Do you think Hulu is the future?

New York Getting Bombed...Again
There was a minor bombing at the Military Recruiting Center in Times Square New York Thursday. The bomb is thought to be linked to two other bombings in the last year. The bomb was little damage but concerns people because it is so much like the other two bombs. The bomb was said to be small and not able to do alot of damage. We need to stop this from happening on our streets.
Do-Over in Flordia? Is This Happening Again?
Soon after Clinton shocked me and the rest of the country by taking Ohio and Texas she might have another thing going her way. Flordia and Michigan might be haveing a do-over on the voting for the Democratic hopefuls. The big question for all of this is who will pay for it? This is big! IF Obama comes out on top then he basicly seald this, but if Clinton was to win big she could possibly take over the lead. What is up with Florida and elections?
Why Wont She Quit?
Clinton with her back against the fences came out swinging in Ohhio and Texas to upset Obama and stay in the race. She is still far behind Obama and needs a lot of luck from the remaining states. Clinton should just give up now and save the rest of the country some time. Do you Think that Clinton should stay in the race or drop out because she is so far behind?

1 out of 100
1 out of every 100 men are in prison in the United States. Falls in the economy have made many of men turn to acts of theft and violence to get out of money problems or to just survive. The "recession" is the reason for this trend in the rise in prisons in the United States. If the economy grew and we dont go into a full recession do you believe that this trend in the prison would stay the same or would it fall with the rise in economy?
A New Cuba
Raul Castro unlike older brother Fidel has already been making changes in Cuba. He is and has already started letting in UN Human Rights Council to visit and check the state of the jails in Cuba. Also He is reaching out trying to open up to a capitalist system in there country doing thing like foreign trade and opening up to tourism unlike Fidel who ran a closed system. Cuba is now a two billion dollar a year tourist attraction bring more money to their economy than ever. For the United States Raul is a big factor hopefully opening up to trade with us. Raul is possibly the best thing for Cuba.

Harry In War
Prince Harry of England is in the war on terror. He is not just in the British Army helping from a secure base but is actually on the front line fighting. Britian wanted to keep this secret for they believed this would make him a "bullet magnet" for the taliban. All Harry wanted was to be a normal solider but that came to a quick end. He is possibly getting pulled out soon to come due to his identity being told. The Queen herself, his grandmother, is the one who sent him to war.

Serbs Take Out Aggression on U.S. Embassy
Because of the support from the United States for the independence of Kosovo, an angy grup rally turned into a mess when they attacked the unguarded embassy building of the United States. The United States was not the only one who supported Kosovo so taking there aggresion out on us was not very nice. The U.S. should put there foot down and show these Serbs whats whats and whos who and dont set our buildings on fire because its just mean.
Showdown In Texas
Heated debate between the Democratic nomines Obama and Clinton on CNN. While Obama looked calm and cool Clinton looked very uneasy in her seat. With Obama winning so many straight I believe Clinton sees that bright light at the end of the tunnel and is trying her hardest to steer away from it. Can she out run the light? Or will those headlights coming towards her on the semi truck that Obama is driving run her over on his way to the White House?

Sweeny Todd

The Tim Burton film, Sweeny Todd, was amazing. Johnny Depp played to character so well. The movie suprised me by how morbid yet funny at the same time. The whole theme of a meat pie/ barber slaughter house was very interesting. And using the bodies as the meat filling was quite different. I HIGHLY reccomend this movie for everyone!! A+

Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!?
Which one will be the victor? With the never ending debat over whether or not Microsoft will purchase YAhoo! or whether Yahoo! will agree or not and what Google is thinking being left out. The internet is ending up as a monopoly if all this madness goes down as planned. What are your feelings on this issue? Which surch engine/email/multimedia device will you use? or prefer to use?
The Day of Love
Valentines Day, the day of love is more of a bank breaker for most. The day that your suposed to me kind and loving is the day many men complain about having to spend so much money on. Sending cards, flowers, candies and much more just to show your girl that you love them. This holiday is one of make-ups and break-ups. If your in the dog house send a bunch of flowers and make it up to your lady. You forget about the day all together... your screwed. So go out and show your love, waste some money on flowers that will die in the next day or two and buy candies that wont last until 5 tonight, and say I Love You to your special someone.

Armored Cars In Baghdad
Armored cars in Baghdad are selling like crazy. Civilians are spending up to a quarter of a million dollars to get there family vehicles armor plated to protect them against road side bombs or any bullets that are heading their way. The new shops that offer this are helping the economy by providing new jobs and bringing in more money to the area.

Mr. Bush...

While Mr. Bush makes our democracy look more like a "dumbocracy", he gave his final State of the Union address. In this speech he tried to make it look like he knew what he was talking about, but as usual he did not disappoint us with stating facts we already knew. The economy is in trouble and people are worried. Well of coarse we are all worried, and the fact that he is going to cut 151 "wasteful or bloated" government programs shows he knows a little something but, he is still funding a war that is useless. That is one thing he should cut if any is the war in Iraq. Thank god we don't have much time left under this great leader.

TIME: Obama's Win Reshapes the Race
With a win in South Carolina, Barack Obama has turned the presidential race back around. After proving the polls wrong about the percentage of white voters he would win the votes from in South Carolina Obama seems ready for Super Tuesday which is coming up. Shortly after the polls closed Hillary Clinton got on a plane and flew to Tennessee to get ready for the next campaign. Clinton seems eager to get the votes from the other 22 states on the 5th and not worried with the loss of South Carolina. She told Obama that they'll see what Florida brings them. Barack's win in South Carolina open some stronger light on his campaign. This was a much needed win for him and now he has to try and win the votes on the 5th as well as in Florida.
TIME: Indonesia's 100th Bird Flu Death
In Indonesia the 100th victim of the bird flu was recorded. A nine year old boy died after catching the virus on January 16th. Also a women died in the hospital after catching it on the 19th as well. Out of the 222 human deaths from the bird flu, Indonesia has contributed to half of them. Both the victims were from the area outside of Jakarta, Indonesia. Two more people in there 30s have been tested positive and being tested on it now. This is the worst out break in the world as of right now. Researchers need to hurry up and find some sort of medication to stop this outbreak or at least keep it from killing people. The deaths are going to keep rising unless we can find a vaccine to put an end to this.

Immigration Nation Review
- Tamar Jacoby's article "Immigration Nation", was a great view on the immigration issue in the United States at this time. The on going question about what we should do with the illegal immigrants and how do we keep them out of our country. Are they as bad as people make them seem? Jacoby answers these questions in his article along with many others.
- In the article there are five key issues. First, the number or Illegal immigrants compared to the number of legal immigrants in the United States. Second, any new slots should be temporary: workers would be admitted, perhaps without family, for a period of two or three or six years and then go home. Third, High skilled and Low skilled workers are both needed. Fourth, whether or not to build a fence to keep out illegal immigrants out of the United States. Fifth and final, whether or not illegal immigrants here already should be allowed to stay and live here or not and become citizens.
- In the article there are many facts and statistics to help answer the key issues. Some facts being: Foreign men are less likely to be unemployed then a native born. 2/3 of illegal immigrants have income tax withheld from their paychecks, and the Social Security Administration collects some $7 billion a year that goes unclaimed, most of it thought to come from unauthorized workers. North Carolina is the fastest-growing foreign-born population in the country. Between 2002 and 2012 Bureau of Labor Statistics, the U.S. economy is expected to create some 56 million new jobs, half of which will require no more than a high school education.
- In the article he says, "The political stars will realign, perhaps sooner than anyone expects, and when they do, Congress will return to the tasks it has been wrestling with: how to translate the emerging consensus into legislation to repair the nation's broken immigration system." And another time saying, "The only practical solution is to give these unauthorized workers and their families a way to earn their way onto the right side of the law."
- This article is well written and supported by numerous facts. The facts and opinions are on the money for this topic and i highly suggest you take a few minutes of your time and read this article.

Immigration Nation
Immigration is a huge part of our Nation. Everyday in the news there is a story about immigration, more illegal immigrants than anything else, but it is still a big deal. My own personal experience with immigrants isn't a bad one. I work with immigrants everyday, some legal and others not. While the ever growing illegal rate climbs higher and higher, i believe people are afraid to lose their job. The only reason for the feeling of threat is job security. They know that the immigrants are willing to work for less and they usually work harder at the job given. I personally don't feel threatened by these people.
